Work History

Electronics Test Technician III

CONTRACTOR
01.2023 - Current

Using technical diagrams, schematics and test procedures to test the functionality of various circuit card assemblies and cables. Troubleshooting non-conforming products down to the component level. Writing specific work order instructions to restore non-conforming products to meet functional requirements.

CCA Testing

  • Manual bench tested CCA's requiring the use of digital multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes, test fixtures and proprietary test equipment. Products include: Bite CCA, Power Interface, Lamp Driver, Voltage Monitor, Motor Drive, Converter Card and the SG1627 Daughter Card.

  • Automated testing performed on the Teradyne 9100 tester. Products include: MCM Interface, Receiver, Sensors 1-3, Module Motor Command Controller, Bite Monitor, Plenum Drain Valve / Anti-Icing and the Dual ISA Bus Multiplexer. Some testing was performed on the SPEA 4020 Automatic Flying Probe Tester.

Cable Testing

  • Utilizing the Nexeya Horizon II Cable Tester and proprietary test stations including the MPT2, MPT1000 and MPT5000 to test branched cable builds for functionality and conformance.
  • Testing RF cables for conformance with a Network Analyzer
  • Manually test the continuity of cables, PCB/CCA's, cabinets and various sub assemblies.
  • Hipot Testing (Dielectric Strength Test) and insulation resistance testing.
  • Troubleshoot non-conforming products and write work orders to restore product to meet specifications.
  • Conferred with engineers and designers to investigate and solve failure issues.

Assembly & Test Tech III

Semilab USA LLC
01.2018 - 12.2022

Followed work instructions and test procedures to complete the final build of semiconductor PV tool builds. Completed the final assembly and testing of sub assemblies, components and integration testing of the final product build.

  • Evaluated installed electrical equipment to isolate faults and implement corrective actions.
  • Determined most effective approaches to new projects by reading and analyzing blueprints, drawings and schematics.
  • Regularly operated logic and spectrum analyzers, frequency counters, oscilloscopes and other technical equipment.
  • Worked from schematics to build and troubleshoot CCA components and sub assemblies.
  • Improved build time and workflow up to 10% while maintaining quality and performance.

Test Engineering Technician III

Honeywell
04.2011 - 04.2017

Secret Clearance level technician that managed the final product build of a fiber-optic gyroscope for the Trident program.

  • Utilized optical test equipment such as digital multi meters, OSA, X-Ray, E.D.S and Scanning Electron Microscope to evaluate final products.
  • Used lean manufacturing methods to evaluate fiber optic gyroscopes and electronic assemblies for compliance.
  • Coordinated corrective action with engineering associates on component failures and quality issues.
  • Aligned with process and design engineers at the component level to improve the current test processes and build procedures.
  • Exceeded standards by participating in continuous improvement, Kaizan and Six Sigma techniques.
  • Managed the final build book, DCMA inspections and test data to ensure requirements were satisfactory.
