  • Serves as a Level II DAWIA certified Industrial Property Management Specialist and Plant Clearance Officer under the general supervision of the Asset Management Division Head
  • Responsible for maintaining surveillance and control over defense contractor's complex property control systems along with SWS Ashore encompassing over 300 items valued at over 29 million dollars used for the development, testing, manufacture and/or overhaul of the Trident D5 Missile.
  • Ensures contractors are performing awarded contract IAW Federal Acquisition Rules (FARS) and Defense Federal Acquisition Rules (DFARS)
  • Responsible for the administration of various delegated contract functions, such as, performance of Property Management Systems Analysis (PMSA), investigation of cases of loss, damage or destruction (LTDD) of government contract property.
  • I use the Plant Clearance Automated Reutilization Screening System (PCARSS) to conduct plant clearance functions; reviews schedules of excess government furnished property submitted by contractors for disposition; verifies the validity and correctness of contractor submitted inventory schedule; issues disposition instructions to contractors for all surplus government property; ensures and conducts verification that all demilitarization requirements are met during the final disposition of government furnished property
  • Communicates orally, in writing, and by electronic correspondence with individuals, staff, senior staff, and contract management.
  • Serves as the NOTUs Property Disposal Specialist. Ascertains the value, condition and usability of excess property and implements the most appropriate method of disposal. Screens excess Government Property for reutilization within the Navy Fleet Ballistic Missile Program and the Department of Defense utilizing the Defense Logistics Agency Electronic Turn-In (ETID) system. Advises personnel on disposal policies and procedures.
