As an SWD Operator I'm responsible for safe disposal of produced water. My duties included but not limited to: operating all equipment and pumps on location, monitoring pressure levels and performing routine and regular maintenance, troubleshooting system issues and recording daily inlet and injection volumes in a data base and making sure I'm in compliance with all state environmental regulations and ensuring the safe disposal of produced water. Another responsibility is being proactive and replacing spool pieces, fittings, packing, plungers and etc. that might be showing signs of potential leaks/ spills and minimizing downtime to a facility. An SWD operator plays a vital role in keeping production up in oil and gas companies.
Lease Operator:
operate and maintain numerous types of pumping units on assigned route. Physically gauge every oil and water tank and record daily production into FDG. Record accumulative gas numbers and keep proper or recommended pressures on all wellheads and vessels (separators, FWKO's and heaters for a maximized and applicable daily production). Clean and perform daily maintenance on and around equipment on routes, which includes but not limited too; clean or replace kits on BPV's and dumps on vessels, replaced wellhead packings, fill pumps with oil, change out filters on water filter pots, clean and/or repair pressure kills on tanks and flow lines, trouble shoot POC alarm issues on Scada, replace or tighten fittings around batteries. Maintain good clean oil for truck loads and lact pipeline. Spray and cut weeds and keep all locations clean. Organize repairs with various crews and scheduling the wells to be treated as needed with hot oilers. Help other lease ops with trouble shooting or repairs.
