Summary

Being in the restaurant and bar business for the past eight years has taught me many skills. Working in a fast paced industry, you have no choice but to be a hard worker and make zero mistakes whilst doing so. A helpful skill you pick up along the way is to multi-task, which in the world we live in today, has to be second nature for an individual looking to be successful in their field. In my current field, its imperative to work with high-energy, in order to meet customer desires. Experience with POS systems, money handling, and generating sales reports have also led me to understand the business side of the restaurant industry. My experience in this industry has taught me how to communicate with customers in a professional manner, along with my coworkers. These jobs have also taught me how to be organized and work well with others when the establishments become hectic. My resume may be overlooked in the Business Administration industry at first, but between all the skills I have learned over the years and the motivation I possess, it is time to expand my horizons and start my career in the business industry.
