Operating different types of machinery, wall saws, table saws, bandsaws, and larger machinery splitting various types of wood. Also operate a larger pallet building machine, fixing issues as they arise, changing out blades, bringing issues to my supervisors attention so the mechanic could work on it, lots of stacking wood neat. When they dont have enough people building the custom pallets I would usually step in and help for the day, using air pressured nailguns. Cleaning out sawdust collectors, reading measurements and making sure the pallet is built accordingly.
Loved this job, got really good at throwing pizza dough and spinning it/doing tricks with it, open style pizza kitchen, wood fire oven, a lot of splitting wood/stocking wood when orders would come in, prepping/making dough, then prepping various types of vegetables and meats. Cleaning the pizza oven daily, coordinating orders to make sure they got out timely with the food being cooked in the back kitchen. And making sure the customers had a good experience as far as watching me do my job, keeping everything clean and orderly and fun.
Loaded trucks as packages would come down the line, making sure to stack them neatly and timely, assuring no damage was done to the package in the process.
Worked at both the locations in the valley, the one on calumet and college, started on calumet got transferred to college after about a year because they needed help and loved it so I stayed at that location for the rest of that second year, lots of doing dishes, cooking various foods on a Wok, got very familiar with cleaning and changing the oil in fryers as it was done daily, prepping all different types of vegetables, sorting and stocking fridges/freezers when we would get a truck load.
First job, Washed dishes, prepped vegetables, prepped and sliced many different types of meat, worked the register taking orders, built the orders.
