All my experience was passed on to me by very good journeymen who probably retired by now. Hands on learning is how i gained a lot of my experience , anything new to me will not be a problem as im a very quick learner.

  • Worked in dragline and heavy machinery bucket repair shop repaired cracks , installed handrail on machines where needed. Repaired broken pulling ears on dragline buckets.
  • Replaced worn out wear plates on dragline buckets.
  • Replaced worn out tooth caps on loader buckets and dragline buckets in shop and out in the field.
  • Perform 6 month preventive maintenance (pm's) on 8750 and 2570 draglines. These pm's include changing out hoist on drag cables. Repairing cracks and broken welds on hoist, housing and tub. Changing out swings gears, motors, tanks and chains for pulling draglines. These pm's included planing and teamwork to complete in timely and safely matter. I was apart of these plannings.
  • Working here i was able to learn a lot about heavy machinery. I'm very experienced in the mining industry. Very familiar with msha rules and regulations. I'm experienced in operating small cranes, heavy duty forklifts, small loaders and various manlifts.
