- Monitored entrances and exits of subdivisions. The goal is to help in maintaining excellent working conditions by keeping the community safe and problem-free, and other points of access to ensure safety of property during overnight hours. Watch building material, so it wasn't being stolen, locking model home, and other homes with appliances after closing hours. D.R. Horton Estate subdivisions require that I assist with the identification of future homeowners to view homes during the assigned daytime shift. I would also monitor the pools and clubhouse entrance during the summer months of subdivisions that had those amenities. Report suspicious activity and report it to a police officer if needed. Conduct security checks by vehicle and foot, deterring vandalism, thefts, or other criminal behavior. I would also provide security for Metro PCS stores and their parking lots to ensure the safety of customers in and out of the store. Help coordinate security for new contracts, and arrange the schedule for other security officers. Make sure they understand the assignment for the contract, along with understanding how to use the When I Work app for logging hours worked and time off request. . I also kept a picture log of all building materials that were stored at each assigned area. Worked special, short-term security assignments at high-end clothing stores such as Dolce & Gabbana, Zara, & Shane Justice. I was called to work some weekend special events for contracts that only certain officers were requested. All assignments were 12-hour shifts in and around the Metro Atlanta area, with the exception of a few in Woodstock, GA.
