  • Verified rebar installs for the runway, taxiway, duct banks and roadways.
  • Verified and assured that all concrete placements were in compliance prior and during according to the following: air, slump, concrete temperature, retardants, accelerants and mix design.
  • Assured all earthwork was being performed according to the drawings and specifications as they pertain to the cuts, fills, slope percentages, densities, plasticity limits, plasticity index and proctors.
  • Assured all manholes and junction boxes are set at the proper elevations below grade, compacted subgrade, with porous backfill and check for levelness.
  • Verified edge drains perforated / non-perforated pipe installed 40"-42” below grade, with 9” of clearance from the centerline of pipe, with the minimum of 18” in width, filter fabric including 4” porous material between the pipe and the filter fabric.
  • Verified densities of cement treated base materials that were in compliance prior to asphalt placements Type “C".
  • Assured all asbestos finding material in the abatement process was removed from the interior and exterior vertical and horizontal joints, tilt walls, flooring, ceiling and all mechanical piping. verified all areas were contained and properly sealed.
  • Observed testing within the proximity of disposal to assure there wasn’t any hazardous exposure from the carcinogen material.
  • Maintained an hourly observation of the air quality to assure all the exposed team members were in a safe respiratory environment as required at a part per million.
  • Assured asphalt placements are in compliance according to temperature, rolling patterns, densities, prime coats, tack coats, longitudinal and latitudinal smoothness with a 2% slope.

  • Assured the quality of work was being performed for civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing disciplines in the architectural shell for 18 levels in the Acute Tower and 9 levels in the WISH Clinic.
  • Verified concrete installations prior to placements for the slump, air, concrete temperature and mix design as it pertained to the specifications.
  • Inspected post placements that were performed in mass placement by reading celsius and fahrenheit temperatures. Converted celsius degrees to PSI as needed for the 75% required to remove the forms from post tension wall and deck slabs.
  • Performed inspections for the elevated deck slabs, verified rebar sizes, amount to be installed per joist, beam and slabs. Inspected the post tension in the beams as they pertained to the parabolic curve and number of tendons per bundle.
  • Verified parabolic curves per every four feet to assure the runs were at the proper elevation to be stressed at the required seven percent of elongations. In this same scope of work, verified proper elevations for the PT ducts in the PT walls from the live end to the dead end.
  • Inspected rebar in the deck slabs for proper clearance from bottom to top mats with various offsets and different depths in the slabs.
  • Verified the penetrations were installed at the proper locations according to the M.E.P. drawings and assured that all penetrations in the slab had the diameter plus ¼’ inch for fire proofing in all elevated decks and slabs on grade.
  • Assured all earth work was performed as it pertained to depths in cuts, fields, densities, plus or minus moisture, with the proper characteristic proctor for all site work.
  • Verified proper percentages were met for drainage at the subgrade as it applied to paving.
  • Inspected drill shaft operations to verify depths to shell, final depths, all rebar assembled for the verticals, spirals, chairs and clearance above grade.
