Dedicated and hardworking, I honed my skills in framing carpentry and customer service at Rayco Construction and other roles. With a knack for efficiently handling materials and a commitment to excellence, I mastered woodworking techniques and power tools, contributing to over five foundation projects without letting distractions hinder my productivity.

I Built homes with rayco construction on and off for the past 4 years. I learned the general principles for building homes with them, from top to bottom. Mostly carpenters work, Not much finish work. I did a lot of the laborer work so I can move material around fairly quickly.
Learned how to install joists, sheet the flooring, stock walls, sheet walls, roll trusses, put up hangers, put in regular blocking, put up sub fascia and sheet roofs
Like I said above I was a laborer so I did a lot of moving material, so I was never given a chance to grow and operate power tools as much as I would have liked too. I did learn how to use nail guns, staple guns, Tiko guns and skill saws a little bit
Laborer/ helper
I made sure material was properly secured on peoples vehicles and helped them move the material if needed. I also made sure all carts were brought back into store, helped customers if they were looking for anything in particular
I worked this job for the summer of my junior year in high school. I was a laborer, we did more than foundation work. But that was my main job, built over five foundations that summer I believe along with other odd jobs to fill the time.
Learned install fox blocks, bend rebar, install rebar, fill fox blocks with concrete, brace and square off the foundation
I can’t remember how long I worked here but I was fourteen years old and got the job to have some income, I was a bagger.
