As an Excavation Operator we work hand in hand with all of the electricians, carpenters, and any other crew that needs assistance. We dig for duct runs, cut out bay outs, run pipe, operate a vac truck and other equipment necessary to complete daily jobs.

• For the first four and a half years at Greater Dickson Gas Authority I worked in the construction department
• As a construction employee I laid main lines, service lines, made taps on mains and services, made taps on low pressure and high pressure lines, certified in electrofusion and butt fusion
• I killed services and mains, operated equipment, I possess a Class A CDL drivers license, and I also drove trucks hauling equipment to and from job sites
• As an Installation Crew Leader for Greater Dickson Gas Authority I generally go into the homes of customers, introduce myself and explain what job I am about to do
• I strive to make the customer feel as comfortable as possible and answer any and all questions they may have about the task at hand
• I instruct my help or helpers on what to do while on jobs in order to complete them in an orderly, safe, and efficient manner
• We complete jobs such as piping homes entirely and installing most any gas appliances except for HVAC
• I complete end of day paperwork, material reorder forms, customer installation paperwork, email supervisors, and timesheets for myself and helpers
• As a Greater Dickson Gas Authority Employee I strive to learn every aspect of each department
• I've worked in every department from construction, maintenance of the system, service calls, meter and regulator installations, reading meters, checking cathodic, and odorant testing, etc
• To fill in when needed

• I installed satellite tv for residential and commercial customers
• I also would troubleshoot issues when we would have service orders
• I kept inventory of my work van and placed orders weekly to pick up equipment

• As a corrections officer at the Dickson County Sheriff's office my job duties there were to maintain order and watch over inmates
• I had to make sure that their needs were met as far as medications, food, safety and security, and to make sure they made their court appointments
• I booked them into the computer system and took photos and fingerprints
