My love for helping others hasn't been new. I always knew that I would grow up to have a degree in Criminal Justice being that is a broad field which would allow me to have many options of helping others whether its case manager, or something else. My drive is children and adolescents, I had the pleasure of working at an elementary school for the afterschool program grades K-5th, working with this age group, some with disabilities has taught me how to be patient, how to communicate so that i can understand their wants and needs, realizing that each child may be at a different stage of development.
