Resident Construction Manager
1 Year 1 Month- Manage on-site contractor performance for Rochester International Airport (RST), ensuring adherence to FAA standards and engineering design.
- Perform daily jobsite inspections to identify issues and implement corrective actions promptly with our engineering team.
- Organize monthly pay requests from the contractor/subcontractors to ensure timely and accurate pay schedules.
- Conduct field survey using GPS technology to track material quantities and construction progress against our critical path timeline.
- Lead weekly operations meetings between the client, contractor/subcontractors, engineering team, and the FAA.
Airport Planner
3 Years 7 Months- Develop Airport Layout Plans (ALPs) and Master Plans, using FAA Engineering Briefs and Advisory Circulars as guiding principles, and with a holistic understanding of the Airport’s current and future needs.
- Perform demand forecasting, alternative analysis, and environmental analysis' for clients ranging from general aviation airports to medium-hub, commercial service airports. Research of aircraft performance manuals was necessary to determine design aircraft for hangars, taxiways, runways, and apron sizing.
- Plan for electric aircraft (eVTOL) usage at airports based on aircraft maneuverability, airfield obstruction risk, constructability, and ease of utility tie-ins.
Transportation Engineer
4 Years 9 Months- Designed surface street expansion on major arterials to enhance traffic flow and safety standards. Full utility coordination and community stakeholder was also performed.
- Designed "road diet" streets by reducing capacity and street parking to make roads more pedestrian and bicycle friendly.
