  • Started at wheeler as an operations helper in 2011, moved into machining, then eventually because the Team Leader in the machine shop.
  • With safety in the forefront of my daily tasks, I currently lead daily operations to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Trained and mentored team members on equipment usage and best practices.
  • Proactively resolved conflicts amongst team members to maintain a positive work atmosphere focused on achieving goals together as a team.
  • Kept machinery operating well by completing regular maintenance and repairs.

  • Performed complicated set up's on both manual and CNC machines including Horizontal milling, Vertical Turret lathes, small and large lathe turning of parts ranging from a few pounds to a few thousand pounds. standard size manual knee mill, Milltronics conversational CNC machining, Prototrak conversational Lathe CNC machining, creating solids and generating tool paths through Fusion 360 then executing machining work through Fanuc control. (still learning Fanuc control),
  • Reconditioned large diesel engine block and cylinder heads ranging from 7 liters to 81 liters. including power generation, earth moving, oil, and gas compression engines.
  • I have gone through Caterpillar certified failure analysis courses in both Hydraulic systems and engine failures.
