Anthony Herkenhoff

Have worked every day on the dairy farm that I live on. I work with my dad on the farm and I help make financial decisions that will be beneficial for the dairy. Have to be reliable on the farm otherwise the animals don't get fed or milked then you have bigger problems.

Help my dad and uncle who are both licensed surveyors on the weekends with surveys. Mainly do work between Brainerd and Walker. Generally only do surveys that need section corner locations, and property lines.

Worked on Wohletz Steer Farm while the family that runs that was gone in the summer. Working there helped me because I had to problem solve when the robotic feeders broke and it was my first time dealing with those. Also had to problem solve when all the cows got mixed together and I had to sort them all out by myself.

Worked for Central Dairy out of Melrose when they needed a tractor driver in the summer and fall. Here I had to have teamwork because I was working with five other guys and this helped me because I learned how to communicate better with others.

Was on the A honor roll every quarter throughout my high school career.

Have a 4.0 GPA at SCTCC
