Dynamic and analytical, I leveraged my expertise in research and analysis at The New School to deepen my understanding of social judgment, enhancing team productivity by implementing efficient data collection methods and SPSS proficience. As a Camp Counselor, I led behavioral improvement plans, showcasing my teamwork and documentation management.
As a research assistant, I focus on moral and social judgement, along with decision-making abilities. This facet of psychology allows me to further understand dehumanization among in and outgroups, along with why certain items, onjects, or people are labelled as 'sacred'. Responsibilities include statistical analysis, data collection, brainstorming sessions, and maintenance of a well-ordered workspace in order to enhance productivity.
While working at Hounds Town Fairfield, I began as a Kennel Attendant who focused on the safety and health of the dogs in our care. This included cleaning play areas, feeding dogs, monitoring play and health, and creating regimens with owners for the care of their dogs. I was quickly promoted to Camp Counselor, in which I lead a team of people on animal care, and train newcomers on safety and job expectations. I also work closely with owners who's dogs may have behavioral issues, and work out a plan with them so their dog can receive the best care possible.
While volunteering at the Montclair Animal Shelter, I would bleach and clean kennels, work well with customers, feed dogs specific foods and food amounts, and clean the facility as a whole.
