• Board of Directors (2021-Present) - Supported the Board as President for 2025-2026 & President-Elect for 2024-2025. Attended and contributed to SA-AGD Strategic Planning Meetings for 2021-2022, 2022-2023, 2023-2024, 2024-2025 & 2025-2026. Contributions made to help San Antonio win the 2022 & 2023 Component of the Year Award (among others). Have secured 10+ sponsorships for SA-AGD and am currently organizing a full-day hands-on CE collaboration with Dentsply Sirona for endo course in Aug 2026.
• Within the SA-AGD Board, have served on the SAFE Committee (chair), Membership Committee (chair), FellowTrack Committee (sub-chair) & Social Committee (sub-chair).
• SAFE Director (2022-Present) - Organized/coordinated the 2023, 2024, 2025 & 2026 speaker series, helped with registration of members, executed catering for most meetings, and manage communication for monthly events/RSVPs of members. Monthly events held, including 10 CE events (3 hrs each) and 2 social events per year. Average 15-20 SAFE members monthly. In 2023, held a combined SAFE/San Antonio Ortho Study Club event with Dr. Jay Gibson (orthodontist) as speaker with about 30 participants.
• Membership Committee (Chair) - Help identify the needs of members and recommend the development of services to meet those needs. Welcome new members and help increase membership by reaching out to inactive registered members. Identify non-member needs and perceptions and what we can do to overcome them. Support upcoming events and organize membership annual drive (combined it with AGD President visit the last 4 years).
• FellowTrack Committee (Sub-chair) - Attend student FellowTrack meetings. Serve as mentor for DS3/DS4 students. Aid with CE planning & presenting (served on New Dentist Panel 2022-2026). Report back to board any concerns and future events to be held. Worked alongside Faculty Advisors (Dr. Jon Dossett & Dr. Kevin Gureckis).
