Questions

1. What motivated me to apply for this position is I have been passionate about the law since I was 13 and have not let that passion go since. I had the opportunity to intern at the Atlanta Bar Association this past summer where I gained valuable work experience in the legal field and it has inspired me to continue on pursuing the law.

2. Some of my strengths are I am passionate, eager, and hard working. These strengths have helped me academically because I am very passionate about my future that it keeps me going and makes school easier and more enjoyable.

3. A challenge that I overcame was taking a different route school wise. I chose to go to community college at first because I was unsure of the major I wanted to do. This was a challenge for me because I had the opportunity to go to universities but chose to go down the financially smarter route by figuring some things out and then going to university.

 4. My uncle inspired me and my interests in the legal field. This semester I took a criminal justice class where we learned about many different things in the legal field which has deepened my understanding of the law.

5. I handle high pressure environments by focusing on what needs to be done rather than focusing on the environment. This helps me because I block out the pressure to avoid feeling it making it to where I can stay focused and do my best  work.

6. A time I had to analyze complex information was this summer during my internship I was helping with a case and navigating where all of the information was and trying to remember important pieces of information to relay was hard. I approached the situation with eagerness and telling myself that I can do whatever I put my mind to and the outcome of this was I perfectly completed the tasks and even helped with something in the oral argument for the case.

7. I am very familiar with case prep and court decisions. I have had the opportunity to attend many court hearings and cases which gave me a lot of insight of what really goes on in the court room and prior work put it leading into the case.

8. My understanding of ethics in the legal field is that it is the most important aspect of the job. Before becoming a licensed attorney you have to be sworn in and swear you will not break any ethic codes concerning the law making it very important to the job

9. The way that I would handle a situation where a colleague disagrees with a recommendation of mine is explains my point of view further and if they still disagree I would try and come to a middle ground so that we can come to an agreement.

10. In five years I would be finishing law school and it is my dream to attend law school and become a licensed attorney. After graduating law school I want to move to a big city and work for a big law firm where I can really show who I am and what I am capable of.
