
Having been a successful salesperson for over 15 years, I was promoted to Training, Recruiting and Hiring Manager in January 2015, a position which I held until November 13, 2023. I had two primary goals which I accomplished. First, I developed, implemented and oversaw a recruiting and hiring process which helped locate the best people for the job by focusing on prior performance rather than just on prior experience. Second, I developed, implemented, and oversaw a new hire and ongoing training program designed to equip customer-facing associates - salespeople, managers, advisors, and receptionists - for success. Applying due diligence to the recruiting and hiring process and to the new hire and ongoing training process resulted in one of the lowest turnover rates among automotive salespeople in the nation, 35-39%, while the national average was 80+%. I believe that an organization which unflinchingly prioritizes Truth, the Golden Rule, Positive Attitude with both Customers and Coworkers, Value Exceeding Cost, Excellence, Exceeding Customer Expectations, and Positive Community Impact will not just do well, but will thrive. I seek to help a company implement these values throughout the organization.
