Run scrubber units and associated equipment. Along with monitoring the evaporator and phys chem out in the waste water area. Take daily readings on equipment also do samples to get readings on various areas such as ph, conductivity, total solids, etc. We also check for plugged lines and equipment wear.
Help load lines of waste to burn and verify burn tickets. Do rounds checks of the furnace,equipment,piping and other equipment tied to the operation. Do water test and record several readings on the furnace. Operate the Kiln/gas burners and keep things within the perimeters. Change out pumps and other maintenance work for a smooth operation. Also keep lookout and checks on other areas such as the precips and Sds, and scrubber tank.
I help run two Thermal Oxidizers, two HRSG'S, four dryers, a cooling drum, and other auxiliary equipment. Along with this i do daily rounds to check on equipment and take water and grain samples. Also perform lock out,tagout, and tryout. may be required to help out in other areas in the ethanoel process if needed.
I am responsible for the safe operation of a gas victory auxiliary boiler, a 7500 kilowatt solar gas turbine, and a victory recovery boiler. These are to provide steam to the papermill and to cover utility cost. I keep track of hourly readings, test water samples, and make sure my equipment along with the auxiliary equipment are running proper.

I was assigned to a 620 megawatt coal fired unit. I inspected all equipment to make sure everything was running proper. I filled equipment with oil and water also checked for wear. i also preformed lock out-tagout to make sure the equipment was safe to work on. I was also responsible for taking the unit offline and putting it back online after outages.
I assisted in the making of damper boxes, transition pieces, and hopper pieces for the new baghouse system that was being installed at the Kentucky Utilities Power Plant. During outages I'd also go inside the unit and help install bags inside the baghouse.
I was part of a maintenance contractor at the DP&L J,m. Stuart Station. I helped with the boiler leak repairs, burner change outs, changing pumps, and pipe/structual work to just name a few. i also completed jsa's as i eventually became a foreman. Once i became a foreman then I was responsible for getting materials ready,aligning people out to start work, and making sure the work was done safely and on time.
