- Working as a summer staff member at ACDP with rising 4th graders is a fun and meaningful experience. Each day involves guiding students through learning and recreational activities, helping them build confidence, social skills, and a sense of community. The role requires patience, creativity, and adaptability, and while it's challenging, it's also rewarding. Most importantly, it’s about creating a safe, supportive space where kids can grow and prepare for the year ahead.
