  • Started during a chaotic Christmas production run of which I had not fully understood the processes but was able to show initiative based on previous experiences and manage effectively.
  • Made responsible for both B2B and Retail department with head counts of 45 staff which lasted for 7 months until someone was employed to B2B.
  • From August 2020 to December has always been the busiest period at Solina delivering Christmas production for major retailers i.e. M&S, ASDA, Tesco and Morrison's. I was made responsible to manage the entire Christmas production which was the responsibility of a production manager and I was able to deliver 1.1 million tons smashing records with quality, standards, zero non-conformance in a timely and effective way.
  • Waste on cranberry sauce was a major issue of which I carried out a full evaluation of the process and was able to identify solutions to reducing waste using a simple method of a 3-way valve allowing a full suction of cranberries with sauce resulting in zero waste during Christmas production rather than the pump sucking just sauce from the cranberries leaving the produce to float in vessel resulting to waste at the end of every batch.
  • Introduced Near Miss reporting on site with presentation to the entire team on identifying and reporting near misses, how to complete a Near Miss form and the importance of raising a near miss to identify hazards and reporting it on time before leading to an accident. everyone was adequately trained reducing accident onsite.
  • Attended Lean Six Sigma course which was a great opportunity for me, where I able to think differently with the ability to carry out project work effectively by evaluating the process identify obstacles and carry out experiments to problem solve.
