- As a GM Team Lead I led a team in daily operations including stocking, back stocking, zoning, pulling,customer interactions. For 1/4th of the store. Coordinating back ups for other work centers as needed.
- As a presentation team lead I was in charge of planning workload with a goal of staying up to 2 weeks ahead with the small team I had.
- My presentation team was in charge of 75% of the stores major and minor transitions in all workcenters. From changing up displays, adjusting shelves and label strips, signage and new and old product flow.
- As The Price Change Team Lead I was responsible for adapting our price change process to be done with one person rather than the normal 4 it had been. The process included getting price accurate labels out every weekday, new clearance labels once a week and removing discontinued and salvageable product from the floor and backroom.
- Over the course of my duties I also spent months being in charge of our inbound process and supporting fulfillment and front end processes sometimes as the sole leader.
- My duties supporting our inbound process included managing a small team of truck unloaders and freight workers. Managing a plan for the day and maintaining goal times to keep pace and smooth flow for the day. Setting up other teams for productivity.
- As support for our fulfillment process my duties included coordinating break times of that team. As making sure time and accuracy was being maintained in our two processes. Helping team members find product and determining if we had that. Making sure all necessary supplies were available to our packers. As well as picking and packing orders myself.
- Helping with our more guest facing team as a surrogate leader involved planning break times and coverages. Supporting our drive up team during hectic times. Making sure returns got processed and moved back to the floor in good time. As well as problem solving situations with guests.
- Every weekend I worked for 5 months I was one of 4 leaders in building and ran our front fulfillment,inbound and general merchandise processes by myself.
- All of these processes required maintaining solid communication in various ways to the different teams and people. Maintaining productive work flow through accountability, team work and connection.
