A Walgreens shift lead is a member of the store management team who oversees the day-to-day operations during their shift. They are responsible for opening and closing the store, providing customer service, and ensuring the store runs smoothly.
Responsibilities:
-Opening and closing: Open and close the store, including starting systems, handling cash, and preparing the store for the day
-Customer service: Provide excellent customer service and handle returns, refunds, and cash drops
-Team leadership: Oversee the team, motivate them, and provide feedback and coaching when needed. Authorizing voids, cash reloads, price modifies, returns, etc
Inventory: Ensure the store has the right products in stock and rotate stock as needed. Also responsible for taking in deliveries/truck, authorizing them, and making sure everything goes smoothly
