With over three decades of dedicated coaching experience in basketball, my dynamic skill set integrates athletics with academic excellence. From high school coaching to community college, NCAA Division I and II institutions, and prominent HBCUs, I have mentored hundreds of student-athletes. Over 100 of them have been recognized for academic excellence and 60 have been All-Conference Players. Many have successfully transitioned to playing professional or coaching careers. My comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing student-athletes has been shaped by my extensive experience. Proficient in communication, organization, and conflict resolution, I have also gained expertise in recruiting, team management, academic advising, and budgeting. As the National Scouting Director for HBCU ALLSTARS LLC, I successfully organized and executed high-profile events that showcased the talent of HBCU athletes on CBS. In my role as Athletic Academic Advisor at Miles College, I am committed to guiding student-athletes through their academic and career processes. Drawing on my rich experience as a recruiting coordinator, head girls' basketball coach, assistant football coach, and athletic director, I provide valuable support. My comprehensive knowledge of NCAA, NAIA, and NJCAA guidelines, coupled with my enthusiasm for nurturing talent and passion for engaging with individuals from diverse cultures, has solidified my reputation as a trusted leader in both athletics and academia.
