Performed preventive maintenance on mainly Komatsu brand equipment, to include loaders , dozers , excavators and haul trucks.

Also skid steers and telehandlers.

Prepare inspection reports using a laptop.

Secure necessary oil samples for testing.

Clean up all work areas and follow all company and job site safety requirements.

I was hired as the shop manager and was in charge of 2 techs and 2 tire men.

I contacted customers and scheduled vehicle maintenance and would contact them afterwards with results.

Filled out inspection and service forms.

I ordered needed parts , filters and oils as needed for our work.

I also handled after hours maintenance road calls.

I would also be the one to open the facility in the morning and close it in the evening.

I also prepared customer billing , using computer software.

My supervisor was st the white marsh location and would routinely visit and go over store progress.

I was initially hired for the fuel island position, but i showed interest and knowledge of truck maintenance, so i was btought into the shop and enrolled in the company training program.

I performed preventive maintenance on all makes of trucks and would do most of the follow-up repairs.

I also received traning in semi trailer inspection and repair.

I spent 2 weeks at thermo king school in Minnesota learning refrigeration repair and troubleshoot.

I handled the after hours road service for tires and mechanical repair.

I also was the 2nd shift lead man for the last 10 years i was there.

During that time i contacted customers for scheduling their trucks and / or trailers for service or repairs.
