Over the past 19 years I have been a sworn Law Enforcement Officer in the State of West Virginia and have been employeed by the West Virginia State Police. During this time I have held many titles as a West Virginia State Trooper. In 2007 I joined the Crime Scene Team where I assisted in collecting and processing evidence from a magnitude of different crimes. In 2014 I was selected as a K9 handler for ther department. During my tenure as a K9 handler i was selected to be the K9 trainer and then the K9 Unit Commander where overseen the day to day operations of the K9 Unit. In 2015, following a regerious testing cycle, I was selected to be a member of the SWAT Team which i currently hold the appointment as SWAT Team Leader. During the Spring of 2023, I was appointed to the Executive Officer position within Special Operations where I continue to remain within the Department. While being a member of Special Operations, I have been in charge of numerous tactical situations as well as many large scale VIP events which have all required a high level of security and preparedness. These VIP events have ranged from Boy Scouts of America World Events and Presidential Visits, all of which have taken place in the State of West Virginia.
