I was awarded an AAM for my time at Joint Training Readiness Center (JRTC) in Fort Polk, Louisiana. I was awarded the medal for showing my innate ability to perform proficiently at my job in a simulated combat environment. I built and sustained blockades to keep enemy troops from entering our zone and was able to push myself into the front lines to protect my fellow soldiers.
