Mail Services | Postfix, Dovecot, Rspamd, Roundcube, OpenDMARC, OpenLDAP | KDN Cloud | 2016-2017

  • I designed and implemented a secure open source mail infrastructure system for SMB. The configuration uses a virtual mail system where mail users and groups live in a directory system running OpenLDAP.

GPG Keyserver | Hockeypuck SKS, PostgreSQL (AWS) | Affirm | 2019

  • I deployed a replacement Keyserver using Hockeypuck in AWS EC2 with an AWS classic load balancer. The smooth keyserver transition allowed the organization including Engineers to leverage PGP/GPG for secure email transmission for their workflows.

Monitoring | Datadog, Uptime Kuma, Docker | Affirm | 2020-2022

  • I first deployed a multi-org Datadog monitoring solution for a fleet of Linux EC2 nodes and various AWS services like EFS. About a year later I then deployed an open source endpoint monitoring solution called Uptime Kuma similar to Atlassian's StatusPage that allowed HTTP endpoints and service ports to be monitored in real-time.

Teleport Enterprise | Teleport, tsh, AWS | Affirm | 2023

  • I planned and deployed a Proof of Concept for Teleport Role-Based-Access-Control (RBAC) with Okta. This was a replacement for traditional SSH keys that would provide more granular control over RBAC security. Post-PoC I worked with Infrastructure Automation to deploy environments in Dev, Stage and Prod.

Tableau | Tableau Server, AWS | Affirm | 2023

  • I designed, deployed and administered Tableau Server in an AWS EC2 environment running Linux. Tableau Server was configured to use Okta SSO for user administration.

GitHub Audit Automation | GitHub, Bash, GraphQL | Affirm | 2024

  • I wrote and maintained bash and GraphQL scripts to report on a repositories GitHub Branch Protection in JSON. The script leveraged the GitHub API in addition to another AWS scripts I wrote to clean up old AWS snapshots for cost reduction.

Slack Automation | GitHub Actions, Slack | Affirm | 2025

  • I deployed a GitHub Actions project to automatically archive dormant Slack channels for multiple Slack workspaces.
