Auto Platform Leadership

• Accountable for engineering leadership of the Auto insurance platform during a multi-year maintenance and stabilisation phase in a high-risk, business-critical domain.
• Led a cross-functional team of backend engineers, frontend engineers, QA, and product to ensure safe, predictable delivery and platform reliability.
• Owned delivery planning and execution across sprint and Kanban workflows, balancing production support, regulatory change, technical debt, and incremental feature development.
• Served as final technical decision-maker for platform changes, assessing release readiness and blocking releases where risk outweighed business value
• Partnered closely with Product to refine epics, groom backlogs, and estimate delivery, ensuring work entering development was clearly defined.
• Represented the Auto team in architecture and security forums, contributing to decisions around .NET upgrades, penetration testing readiness, release cadence, and shared standards.

Marketing Hub Leadership

• Led the greenfield development of a Carrier Insights and Marketing Hub platform, delivering a centralised single source of truth for carrier, product, and coverage data across the organisation.
• Owned the end-to-end SDLC from discovery and architecture through to first production release, working closely with Product, DevOps, Security, and Architecture.
• Line-managed backend and frontend engineers, providing coaching, performance feedback, and mentoring while maintaining delivery momentum.
• Coordinated a cross-functional team including backend engineers, frontend engineers, QA, product owner, and DevOps.
• Held accountability for technical and delivery decisions, including scope, sequencing, and release readiness based on risk and system impact.
• Led integration with multiple third-party APIs, ensuring data resilience, quality, and long-term maintainability.
• Oversaw delivery of a role-based admin platform using Microsoft Entra ID, enabling secure management of carriers, products, contacts, permissions, and resources.
