Maintain radio communication with Power Control to transmit and receive information relative to service.

• Check adherence of Bus Operator's schedule and adjust and restore disrupted service.
• Observes the operating practices of bus operators to assure their compliance with customer service requirements, safety and uniform regulations. Inform and instruct operator who do not adhere to safe practices, prepare violation report as required.
• Switch, move up, fill or hold runs to compensate for other runs that are delayed or off the street; promptly advises supervisory controller and other units.
• Observes the operating practices of Bus operators; Monitors street and traffic conditions; Attempt to correct any unsafe operating practices or conditions detected to reduce accidents.
• Spread salt and sand on grades or dangerous areas during snow or sleet storms, or as needed.
• Conduct frequent terminal checks for items/conditions as pavement conditions, uncollected garbage, uncovered/missing garbage containers, defective/missing signs, faulty lights/locks, cleanliness, snow/ice/flooding. graffiti. Report unacceptable conditions to Communication/Power Control
• Assist Bus Operator, various other employees, Police, Firefighters, Customer's, and the General public as needed.

Operator a bus over an established route adhering to predetermined schedule in a safe, efficient and courteous manner to allow passengers to board, travel and alight at schedule stops.

• Announces cross streets and intersecting transit stops.
• Accepted and processed fares.
• Contacted Control to report vehicle issues and other problems.
• Conducted pre-trip inspections of bus for safe operation.
• Operated bus and navigation equipment in alignment with company safety, DOT, and local traffic standards and regulations.
• Communicated Control to report delays and route changes.
• Assisted passengers with disabilities and other physical issues in boarding and exiting bus to promote passenger safety.
