Gardening, Gourmet Cooking, Electric Bass Player & Drummer

Organic composting and gardening of vegetables for our table is my form of meditation practice, because I am in the natural world of so many living species of pollinators, and assist in providing their ecosystems that is constantly threatened.


Gourmet cooking came to me late in life as I had no patience in the kitchen in my youth, and sadly missed the opportunities with Mother, Grandmother's old world ethnic cooking, however my husband is an excellent cook, and taught me the importance of food preparations. How to cut onions for certain dishes, something as simple as that, or hold a cutting utensil, and especially how to engage fully with cooking so that it's a joyful, intuitive and romantic experience, not just food to eat with no real connection.


Music, for the most part, is my life source that gives me motivation, especially when pushing through challenging times. While I'm simply a humble player, all but a practicing musician, when I play, I'm engage fully with the rhythms of sounds and emotions that always captivate me. I pull inspiration from so many genres, from the rock classics, to the modern beats of today's youth, it's all great.
