Worked for one of the most well-known & leading companies in the medical equipment industry performing all levels of electronic assembly & testing of AED’s (Automated External Defibrillators) including the FRx and HS1’s types

• Work in a semi regulated environment with ESD equipment such as anti-static robes, gloves and grounded mats
• Fully trained in all areas in the AED Department and constantly rotating in the Assembly and Testing areas throughout the day according to business needs and to ease repetition on one area
• On the Assembly side I work with a team of 4 people demonstrating cooperation, support & high attention to detail
• Inspect electronic assemblies for quality at all stages of production as defined in the Assembly Procedures
• Use the Philips AP computer program and blueprints to build and complete Defibrillators
• Perform all levels of electronic assembly including installation of PCA’s, heat shields, buttons, speakers, beeper sensors, cushion foams, capacitors, among others
• All assembly is done using various hand tools like corded drills, multimeter, speaker fixtures & cable routers
• Consistently met or exceeded daily production quotas through diligent work ethic & effective time management skills
• On the Testing side I test units using in house programs to check defects such as defective buttons & speaker buzz. I also upload software into the units depending on the work order configurations like different languages & prompts
• Label units with the appropriate decals per work order and the type of units (FRx or HS1)
• The final process in the line is Bundle Box, where I put together the cases, books, instructions and pads for the units per work order. I scan everything into a computer, print labels and pass it down to the QA for final inspection.

Started working as a Receiving Associate and was quickly trained in several departments including Shipping, TV Testing and RTV (Return To Vendor) I was constantly coordinating and rotating between departments to help team members and meet business needs

• Enhanced warehouse efficiency by accurately processing incoming shipments and promptly updating inventory records into a software program
• Inspected returned items carefully for any quality defects. Items varied greatly, from food and household items to electronics such as phones, tablets & computers
• Created serial numbers into the in-house program, print out labels and repackaged items in a professional manner
• Palletized items, strapped and wrapped them to be shipped out on trucks throughout the country
• At the TV Department I tested TV’s by using color videos for picture quality and different sounds for the speaker. Looked for common defects such as cracked screens, damaged pixels, frame damage, sound distortion, etc
• In RTV I did Logistics; we would coordinate with different main brand vendors through email & online to make sure their claims where shipped out in a efficient and professional manner
• Coordinated and scheduled with Fedex, UPS and many others carriers to pick up high value items like electronics, furniture and jewelry
• Minimized errors in shipment documentation with thorough verification of packing slips, invoices and purchase orders
• Kept track of bill of ladings, claims, emails and data from vendors using Google Sheets
• Exchanged important info and data from vendors & claims with other warehouses in Indianapolis, IN & Phoenix, AZ

• Maintained a clean & organized workspace, ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations
• Used Toast & Leapfrog POS systems to input food and drink orders
• Served appetizers, salads, pizza, drinks, among other food items
• Poured & served alcohol including: craft beer, white & red wines, basic cocktails like mojitos, house margaritas, etc

As a certified Production Technician I learned and did many phases of a Scissor Lift while rotating throughout different work stations to meet demand and business needs.

• Got certified on the Genie AWP (Aerial Work Platform) in class and hands on before working on the floor
• Installed different types of fittings and high pressure hoses to a manifold using torque wrenches
• Assembled many parts of a Scissor Lift including limit switches, bells cranks, key switches, beacons, ladders, etc
• Fill out paperwork for each unit and put all the corresponding decals to it
• Increased production capacity by training new employees on machinery operation and safety protocols, strengthening the overall workforce
