Professional Highlights

  • Leader Development. In partnership with 1000 universities and 1700 High Schools, developed and delivered the premier leadership curriculum and technical education programs to annually produce 5,300 mid-tier leaders for the Army, along with instilling the values of citizenship and servant leadership to 270,000 high school students. Led the Army’s largest annual field training event, training 10,000 Cadets in 100 days on fundamental leadership.
  • Faculty Development. Selected, trained and certified 7,000 instructors to deliver leadership curriculum and excel in colligate environments – to include offering advanced undergraduate and graduate education degrees.
  • Talent acquisition. Built innovative strategies to market and recruit mid-tier leader for the Army, resulting in the enrollment of 12,000 new applicants annually. Strategies included collaboration with with congressional leaders, city administrators, academia, and community influencers.
  • Leading change. To posture the Army to meet future recruiting requirements, working across the Army and in coordination with Congressional Leaders and University Presidents redistributed instructors and recruiters to expand access to 200,000 undergraduates. In separate efforts, developed concepts and requirements to modernize the Army's CBRN detection and mitigation capabilities to ensure the Army is postured for future threats.
  • Emergency Management. Provided vision and implemented a rigorous recruiting, training, leader development and resourcing approach that led to the successful mitigation of over a hundred domestic and overseas explosive hazards and chemical hazards, successfully safeguarding the POTUS during domestic and overseas engagements, and providing support to COVID response operations.
