• Executed behavioral neuroscience research 8-10 hours per week to explore neural mechanisms driving adaptive motivated behavior and decision-making

• Tasks included ensuring strong communication with interns and project leads, hosting weekly meetings, delegating tasks, updating project leads weekly about team’s progress, reviewing and submitting all final products of the internship, and presenting the e-poster at a research symposium.
• Gained experience in data analysis using data from Web of Science, creating graphs to show research trends, creating a research presentation and research e-poster, and writing an abstract.

• Was involved in a spatial neuroscience lab with Dr. Elizabeth Chrastil
• Assisted with conducting a behavioral study on multiple participants looking at individual differences in navigation ability
• Work included monitoring participant’s physical activity and simultaneously managing the technological aspect in a VR environment
