I began my time at Schawk as an Account Services Intern, assisting the account team with daily tasks such as estimate, preparing client meeting notes, wall reviews, putting together competitive decks and conducting research for advanced planning projects. Additionally I managed smaller projects for clients such as in store flyers, newspaper ads and inserts from kick-off to release. I was promoted within Schawk, Inc. to an Account Coordinator/Executive position when the company acquired OfficeMax as a new client account. In this position I managed the production of all of OfficeMax’s catalogs including the 900+ page Maxi catalog. I acted as the main point of contact between OfficeMax’s marketing team and my catalog production team, and was in constant contact with the client at all times. This task was particularly daunting when several catalogs are being produced at once, but I was able to remain organized and keep my team on track to release 10 catalogs (just over 10,000 pages total) on time within 6 months.
