- Provide reunification updates to minors and program staff.
- Participate in case staffing to discuss reunification progress.
- Facilitate the timely release of minors to family members or authorized caregivers, documenting services provided.
- Report significant incidents per client policies and procedures.
- Maintain case files and management portals in compliance with policies.
- Conduct initial program intake to verify information, identify sponsors, and make initial contact.
- Facilitate communication between minors, sponsors, and staff.
- Complete assessments with minors and sponsors according to policies and procedures.
- Identify and process potential sponsors, assisting with required forms and documentation.
- Assist in vetting sponsors and submitting Sponsor Suitability Recommendations nationwide.
- Maintain regular communication with minors and sponsors via meetings and phone calls.
- Refer minors to additional services as needed and document/report serious incidents.
- Ensure minors receive required services and monitor their well-being through regular meetings.
- Attend case staffing, training, and meetings to provide updates and collaborate with the care team.
- Handle crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and complex situations with compassion and decisiveness.
- Experience with traumatized minors and those with behavioral issues.
- Support diverse clients, including refugees and minority families.
- Collaborate with TPG personnel and social services agencies under pressure.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and other software for data entry.
- Work independently in the field with high confidentiality.
- Knowledge of state, community, and agency resources for victims of abuse (preferred).
