Work History

Personal House Cleaner

10 Months
Jetta Ambersley- Grandmother | 09.2025 - Current
  • Maintained cleanliness and organization of living spaces through detailed cleaning routines. I keep the house clean, on a daily basis. Spraying and wiping down counters, tables, mirrors, replacing trash bags, and sweeping.
  • This is for week days monday - friday.

During the week I choose one day out of friday- saturday, to thoroughly deep clean the house. From top to bottom, every bathroom, bedroom, living room, kitchen, work office and whatever other area requiring cleaning will be spotless.

  • Utilized effective cleaning techniques to ensure high standards of hygiene and sanitation. This is just common sense for me when cleaning. Different surfaces have different textures and levels of how fragile or sensitive they are. So I know which objects to scrub hard on and wipe down softly.
  • Utilized effective cleaning techniques to ensure high standards of hygiene and sanitation. Im all about proper sanitation and not spreading germs or bacteria. I am careful to not mix up tools that I've used to clean different areas. Obviously, different areas will have different dirt, germs, and bacteria to eliminate. So I don't use one material, I've already used on one specific area, on a completely different one. Especially, since not all areas can be cleaned with just one type of product. I also swap out gloves and wash my hands in between cleaning jobs. Best not to cross bacteria.

Personal Babysitter

1 Year 2 Months
Mother: Wan McMillan - Grandmother: Jetta Ambersley | 05.2025 - Current
  • Supervised daily activities, ensuring safety and engagement for infant. 1-12 months. Up to toddler age, age 1-3. One 2 year old, male. My babysitting duties consist of ....
  • Actively watching and engaging with the child I am watching. Walking toddler to the bathroom, living room, bedroom. Making sure the child doesn't get into any dangerous area or touch anything dangerous.
  • Maintained a clean and organized environment, promoting healthy habits. Keeping the house clean and sanitized, while the toddler im caring for plays. Wiping and cleaning surfaces, replacing trash bags, sweeping and mopping all floors, and washing dishes.
  • Developed creative playtime activities to foster learning and social skills. I play child friendly educational videos, on the youtube platform. Videos to teach you basic number counting, the alphabet, our vowels, manners, and basic everyday objects and how they work. Sometimes I quiz the child the topic they learned, by having them practice and repeat words back to me. To see progress on pronunciation. I also have him call out certain colors, shapes, and objects. To test his acknowledgement, information retention, and pattern recognition on those subjects. Much more!
  • Assisted with meal preparation, catering to dietary needs and preferences. I prepare and serve, meals and snacks for the child. I have range, in my included meals. Different poultry, veggies, fruits and grains.
  • Adapted quickly to changing situations, ensuring smooth transitions during care hours. If the child has any small accidents, such as: spilling food or drinks, breaking an item, or peeing or pooping on himself, I remain calm and attend to the situation. I don't react by showing the emotions of anger, panic, or Irritation. This will help the child, remain calm. Helping him know it's ok to have accidents or make mistakes, without instilling a feeling of dread, fear, or anxiety. Knowing he can make have those moments without the worry punishment.
  • Provided emotional support, nurturing children's development through positive reinforcement. I approach any emotional outburst, with patience, empathy, understanding, and flexibility. Since toddlers emotions can change, due to hunger, frustration or drowsiness. I am always ready to change plans or pause an activity, to find a solution to nurturing the child. Getting the child back on track, so we can continue the day. Whether that be laying him down for a nap, changing his diaper, cuddling and holding him, or breath exercises and positive reinforcement.

Dog Pet Sitter

1 Year 3 Months
Jetta Ambersley: Grandmother | 04.2025 - Current
  • Provided attentive care and companionship to dogs, ensuring their comfort and well-being. I watch and pay close attention to the dogs, as they play and sleep. Making sure they don't play to rough and hurt each other. Such as scratching or biting. Checking to make sure there isn't issues with their breathing, while asleep. I actively engage with the dogs, petting them, playing with them, and rewarding good behavior. Petting them, giving treats when they are compliant.
  • Maintained cleanliness of pet living environments, adhering to hygiene standards. I keep the house cleaned and the floors clear of any trash, foods, chemical products etc. Because they tend to roam. As well trying to ingest foods, products, they cannot have or inanimate objects. I take them out back to use the bathroom 3-4 times a day and replace their pee pad, every 3-4 days.
  • Engaged dogs in daily exercise routines, promoting physical activity and mental stimulation. I let them burn off energy, by playing in the backyard. I also play frisbee with them.
  • Monitored behavior and health signs, reporting any concerns promptly to family members. Any time I notice abnormal behavior, coming from the dogs I report it to their owner's. Abnormal behaviors can range from loss of appetite, low energy, vomiting, changes in bowel movement, etc.
  • Developed feeding schedules tailored to individual dietary needs for optimal nutrition. I feed them twice a day, once at 12pm and once at 7pm. Plus, I give 2 treats each in between. Their portions sizes are in the medium range. So not to small, but not large. *They are small, pudgy, french bull dogs. So they don't need an extra large amount of food.
