I was offered a new role by Suresearch to re-engage my career with them and take on a role with a commitment to working closer to home, and reducing my daily commute to achieve a greater work-life balance.

At the time with Crux, I was working long hours while also commuting over four hours a day, and the ability to work while being closer to my home and family was something I greatly desired.

I was able to take all the added experience I gained in a senior role and apply it to my new tenure with Suresearch.

Under my tenure at Crux, I assumed a senior role as a Leading Utility Locator & Concrete scanner and added experience of,

• Engaged in quoting, pricing, and managing projects by working alongside senior members of different organizations.
• Managing other locators and offering advice of practical on site techniques and tips.
• Assuming responsibilities of organising work flow cohesion between other service providers i.e. CCTV and NDD truck operators,
• Gained experience as a Surveying site hand and knowledge of on site surveying work using GPS rover and drafting programs.

During my time as an underground service locator, I learned many valuable work and life traits to enhance my work life.

• Exceptional understanding of client and business relationships, building trust and respect between clients, as well as making some excellent friendships through the workforce.
• In-depth skills of onsite reporting and mapping, on the completion of a job, a thorough report would be undertaken explaining all actions, procedures, and limitations of the completed work, as well as recommendations moving forward with the project.
• Living a busy schedule with days filled with multiple jobs in various locations, I have experience in completing multiple jobs in a single day, always ready for the next job. I have also been an on-call roster worker who is comfortable working night shifts and weekends when available.
• Experience in the work-travel lifestyle, working in all areas of NSW. I have worked from Coffs Harbour to Shellharbour, as well as in inland rural areas such as Dubbo and Guyra. I am adept at traveling for the job.
• I present myself in a friendly and approachable manner, sharing my knowledge and skills on an understanding level. I am comfortable talking about complex topics with the Directors and Supervisors, as well as being easy going and understandable in a language for the average customer.

• Quick learning with new and complex tools to get the job done right, through my experience as an underground service locator, I have spent my time learning new and exciting tools and machinery. As the job is ever-changing, it leads to the common use of new tools for the perfect outcome on a project.
