Accomplishments

With my co-director and the support of Lewiston Public Schools, established a Special Purpose program for neurodivergent students. Started the program from the ground up hiring over 60 staff, including related service providers, and supporting 37 students within its second year. This program provides special education programming for students who would typically require special education services in an outplacement setting, allowing them the opportunity to receive services within their community.

Successfully managed an elementary school of over 400 students and 110 staff. Designed and led professional development, facilitated IEP meetings while aligning IEP's to Special Education Law, facilitated restorative conversations, built strong relationships with families and community stake holders. Supervised teachers and paraprofessionals aligning feedback to the districts evaluation systems.
