• Move throughout store assisting customers, and making sure Associates are seeking out customers to help and providing excellent customer service

• Teach, train, evaluate, and provide guidance to Associates throughout the day

• Prioritize and communicate messages, priorities, and tasks to all DSs and Floor Associates

• Manage check-out lines as needed to ensure an exceptional customer experience

• Verify Associates follow all safety and Hazmat procedures; practice Safety Matters guidelines at all times

• Assess lot coverage and actively monitor cart availability. Ensure Associates are initiating cart retrieval from the parking lot when not loading customers.

• Address and resolve all customer escalation issues and ensure Associates involved are providing the highest level of customer service • Provide feedback to store management on customer concerns and issues, and recommend solutions Coach DSs and Floor Associates

• Coach Associates on GET behaviors and accuracy, provide guidance to help them solve customer needs

• Teach Associates how to use tools and systems to enhance customer experience, and ensure processes are completed accurately

• Participate in interviews and make recommendations to SM and ASMs regarding the selection process

• Make recommendations regarding promotions and other employment decisions

• Manage the opening / closing of all exterior and interior doors and ensure all opening / closing policies are followed

• Review markdown and ensure all are approved within 24 hours

• Operate (lock / unlock) trash compactor and place pick-up orders with the trash company

• Sign off on store deliveries as needed Complete emergency procedures when SM or ASM is not present

• File required incident and workers compensation claims; partner with SM as incidents occur
