• Admit patients from Emergency department. Perform assessment, order and interpret diagnostic tests, determine consult needs, perform and document history and physical.
• Prescribe and manage pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments for patients with acute on chronic illness and multiple comorbidities.
• Cross coverage for Hospitalist service patients and consults. See average of 20 patients per shift.
• Coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary team including registered nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, certified nursing assistants, and lab technicians.
• Educate patients on treatment options.
• Discuss goals of care with patients and their chosen contacts.

• Travel RN serving as Resource RN and Charge Nurse in multiple Level I and Level II facilities.
