Community Involvement

  • (2010-current) Volunteered with various FOP Community Outreach Programs including Shop with a Cop, Easter basket deliveries to families in need, and the Jake Laird Golf Outing.

Additional Assignments and Specializations

Mentor - For approximately 6 years, from the start the agency's mentor program, and prior to, I have acted as mentor to all our female officers with a passion for supporting and guiding them, while leading by example.

R.A.D. (Rape Aggression Defense) Certified Instructor - In 2020, I became a R.A.D. Instructor and have since helped train a number of women in self-defense and personal safety, helping to empower and encourage them, while building the self-confidence and helping them realize their strength.

Background Investigator - Since 2016, I have been a Background Investigator for the agency, where I have worked diligently and with determination to take a role in insuring that we continue to hold a high standard for hiring the highest caliber of officer so that we continue to represent the Noblesville Police Department and our community well.

CIT (Crisis Intervention Team) Certified - In 2022, I became CIT certified, recognizing our community has experienced an increase in mental health related incidents contributing to a large number of our calls for service, desiring to be better educated and equipped to manage such situations.

Recruiting and Hiring - In 2011, I was selected to assist in recruiting. Since getting hired, I have been involved with all recruiting events and efforts to attract interest in our department and represent our agency, and have volunteered as a proctor in all of the physical fitness assessments.

Policy Review Committee - In 2020, I volunteered to be a member of the committee, desiring to make positive changes for the benefit of our officers and the department. During this time, I was able to play a significant role in making positive changes to critical areas of policy, including our Harassment, Maternity and Pregnancy, Prisoner Transport, Use of Force, and Pursuit General Orders.

Police Oral Board Interviewer - In 2014 I was selected to be a member of our Oral Board of interviewers and have since served in this role annually over the last 7 years.
