- Oversee the operations for 7 patrol stations, 11 Sergeants and 73 Troopers, acting as the liaison between the them, upper management and the union representatives.
- Conduct mid-year and annual performance evaluations for the Sergeants working under me. This is to include a compilation of daily performance observations for both positive and negative work performance throughout the rating periods. These evaluations and daily observations can result in disciplinary actions that I negotiate between the subordinate, upper management and the union.
- Conduct internal investigations of Troopers and Sergeants for both employer initiated personnel complaints and complaints generated by any individuals outside of the agency. This process includes writing the initial and findings of the complaint, verifying the violations of Rules and Regulations and contract violations through the investigative process.
- Conduct self-assessments of 7 stations, auditing all operations for each individual stations. I compose a full report of the deficiencies found and address the corrective measures needed.
- Oversee the training process for all newly hired Troopers and promoted Sergeants, training the trainers to ensuring all duties, policies and procedures are bring presented. I continue to monitor the lengthy training process for new Troopers to determine if they can maintain employment. If I determine they are not meeting, expectations, I write and execute contracts phases leading to termination.
- Assigned to several task forces to plan and execute large and small scale events and details to maintain order, efficiencies and safety. Details such as Ironman, World University Games, Dannemora Manhunt and traffic safety details.
