  • Responsible for making hiring decisions concerning all personnel. Also responsible for keeping personnel records current. Interviewing of applicants and all other screening processes, including criminal background checks. Responsible for signing off on professional staff’s timesheets and mileage reports.
  • Develops knowledge of all applicable programs (CAP, PCS, PACE, Private Pay, other) and has general awareness of applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules and regulations as they pertain to these programs.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the annual performance evaluations of the CNA’s is performed by the Registered Nurse. Working closely with the RN in placing the appropriate aide with the appropriate client.
  • Responsible for overseeing the Secretary/Scheduler position. Assisting with placement of CNA’s as needed. If no scheduler/Client Care Coordinator is hired, Office Manager assumes the responsibilities of that position.
  • Tracking of supplies to reorder (such as: name tags, gloves, aprons, blood pressure cuffs, masks, etc.), orders of all equipment for the agency.

  • Maintains Google Docs daily to ensure accurate notes are being taken for client & aide records
  • Maintain compliance, scheduling, staff, client, etc. information in SAM and ensure that the system is kept up to date at all times. Assist in training field staff on Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) processes and guidelines. Making sure they are compliant when required to use EVV with clients.
  • Attendance at meetings with state and local agencies is required.
  • Keeps CEO abreast of all information on a timely basis and performing any other duties the CEO may request.
  • Proactively assists in other office duties to provide friendly, courteous service to clients, employees and office staff. This includes answering phones, processing applicants, and other office administration as required.
