• Provides direct-care services to patients including individual, group and family sessions
• Serves as a primary therapist to assigned patients and their families
• Interviews patients and family members to develop a complete psychosocial assessment
• Obtains information about patient history, health and level of functioning
• Serves as a member of the multidisciplinary team
• Participates in the planning, implementation and evaluation of treatment plans and updates
• Works with patients and families to prepare solid aftercare plans, including referrals to community agencies and other professionals as needed
• Complete and maintain accurate records of services provided and ensure documentation in the patient charts in a timely manner
• Ensures program functions within requirements established by the Joint
• Commission and other state and federal agencies
• Remains knowledgeable of current trends related to behavioral healthcare by participating in professional organizations, reviewing current literature and communicating with representatives of other facilities
• Responsible for creating and supporting a positive, professional, team-oriented, harassment-free work environment by understanding and complying with organization policies

• Conduct and document mental health assessments for all children in care as well as provide ongoing individual and group counseling in accordance with ORR policies and procedures
• Screen for human trafficking concerns
• Provide crisis intervention
• Maintain the UC case file and ORR Database/System of Record in accordance with
• ORR policies and procedures
• Report significant incidents in accordance with ORR policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• To be knowledgeable of local needs and available services for children and families
• To make home visits to conduct need assessments, develop plans of service and provide holistic counseling, case management services, and parenting to meet individualized needs of the family
• To provide psychoeducational parent training to equip families in becoming competent in demonstrating these skills with their children
• To assist and encourage families to advocate for and coordinate all needed services toward the goal of achieving self-sufficiency
• To maintain all documentation in the CSWIS data system in an ethical and timely manner
• To communicate, collaborate and organize with community partners to provide the best possible community resources for children and their families
