Had the opportunity to train and learn in different manufacturing industries' quality control and analytical lab during the yearly "Field work and Industrial tour" course.

Few noteworthy are as follows,

• Elite Paint & Chemical Industries Ltd

- Tested paint's viscosity and flow.

- Used standard panels for color observation.

- Measured paint stability and water resistance.

• Royal Cement Limited- Chittagong

- Tested imported raw materials such as Clinker for purity by determining dicalcium silicate (C2S), tricalcium silicate (C3S), tricalcium aluminate and tetracalcium aluminoferrite (C4AF) concentration and inspected granule diameter.

- Tested final product for component percentages.

• Sheikh Russel Water Treatment Plant- Chittagong

- Tested purified water pH through titration.

- Used micropipette and made test slides to inspect water sample under microscope for microorganisms.

- Tested Hardness of water.

• Lub-rref (Bangladesh) Ltd

-Tested imported Base oil for Viscosity index, volatility and flash point.

-Used HPLC instrument (PerkinElmer) and Gas Chormatography with Mass spectrometry to detect components of oil and percentage of different components by observing abosorbance , molecular weight etc.

• Managed sample handling, receiving, storage and inventory.
• Ensured accurate test results with proper use of lab equipment and adherence to protocols.
• Logged samples correctly into computerized tracking system.
• Maintained lab by calibrating equipment and cleaning surfaces and items used.
• Enhanced laboratory efficiency by maintaining and organizing equipment, supplies, and samples.
