My 12 year experience as a hockey player has instilled in me the importance of being a team player, and the benefits of working with others to achieve success. For two years I was selected as the assistant team captain for both club and high school teams. I am also an experienced leader that is comfortable speaking in front of groups and making informed decisions that affect others. As a Red Devil Ambassador, it was integral to make new students feel comfortable and serving as their point person. Co-managing a business with my best friend has instilled in me an uncompromising work ethic and the value of being professional. In my fourth year of working at the largest baseball complex on the East Coast, I worked my way up from parking lot attendant to maintenance, working other positions in between. I believe in doing my best, no matter the task.

Yashkas Award, 8th grade. I was selected by counselors and teachers to receive the individual award that highlights the importance of treating others with kindness and having a positive attitude.
Red Devil Ambassador, Hunterdon Central Regional High School, Sophomore - Senior year. Out of a class of 600 students, I was one of 6 to ultimately be chosen to serve. A very selective process, that throughout the 3 years demanded good grades, and even better behavior. An RDA introduces new students to the school and serves as their point person for as long as they are needed. It is important to make these students feel welcomed and comfortable on day one, many of which may not speak English very well. We also lead open houses for freshman classes, we go to the junior high and provide a lecture about the High School to help them better understand what to expect when they move up, and we also help to organize events. RDAs represent the best of Hunterdon Central Regional High School, a student body of 3,000. Having been chosen to lead in this way is something that I will always be very proud of.
