Summary

An ambitious high school student determined to become a physician-scientist. I have a strong interest in cancer research because of my family’s experience with cancer and the associated emotional turmoil of having a parent suffer from Lymphoma. I also enjoy teaching my peers because it not only help me improve my own understanding but it also provides me with significant amount of personal satisfaction.

I am currently preparing for my NYSSMA Level VI Piano assessment. I've been playing the piano since I was in 4th grade and have fallen in love with its ability to relax me while developing my ability to concentrate. In addition to piano, I also have an interest in Tang Soo Do (Korean Karate). Over the past 3 years I have advanced to level of Red Belt and am slowly but surely working toward my Black Belt. Finally, tennis is another sport that I also enjoy because of it fast pace and its ability to give me an excellent cardio workout.
