I have always loved helping people and caring for those who need it. Whether it was classmates, friends, or family, I was always there to care for them. It is easy to be there for someone when times are good and happy, but when things are rough and hard, that's when being there really matters. I combined my love of helping people with my love for science and biology. I've always been fascinated with biology, and I started pursuing advanced classes in high school. I started taking College Human Anatomy classes and TAing for the Human Cadaver lab at Cabrillo during my Junior year of High School. The human body is fascinating, and I knew that this was the career path that would interest and fulfill me the most.
Being an EMT and working in EMS combines these two lifelong interests of mine. Going through EMT school has already taught me so much and made me excited and interested in the healthcare field. I want to work in this field, learn as much as I can, and help people when they need it the most.
