• In this role I am responsible for the operation, maintenance, and optimization for 3D printers in a high-volume manufacturing environment. I manage the end-to-end production workflows, including large scale production files and testing prototype files. Me and my Lead 3D Production Manager edit and prepare model files received from our designers using Chitubox, Lychee, Fusion360 and Blender. I perform machine troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair to minimize downtime in production. Additionally I oversee the post processing operations which includes washing, curing, quality control, packaging, inventory management, raw material management, production metrics tracking, and continuous process improvements. Me and my Lead also handle modification of facility plumbing systems, basic electrical work within the print lab, environmental controls to maintain proper temperature conditions, ventilation, and safe handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals in compliance with safety standards.
